Every class in school, from our youngest 2 year olds in Puffins to our oldest children in Kingfishers, recognised Road Safety Week at the end of February. The week was launched with a visit from our community Police Community Support Officers who spoke to our primary aged children about keeping safe around roads. They very kindly brought a number of reflective rucksack covers that were given to children in Robins (Year 1), Woodpeckers (Year 2) and Swallows (Year 3). Across school roads were recreated in classrooms, songs sung and the Green Cross Code learnt inside out!

This term, School Council have been working hard on leading the up date of our school rules. After sharing our work with school staff and governors, we received some lovely feedback.
'Please pass on my praise and thanks to the children involved in the School Council. Their hard work and commitment to their role is a credit to each of them. Their school rules are brilliant and certainly adhere to what myself as a parent, expect from my own children. WELL DONE GUYS!'
