Learning Challenge is taking a blast into the past with a World War 2 theme along with a Science topic of How can you light up your life?
Our Learning this week is:
In English - The Piano
In Maths - Problems
In Science - Light
In Learning Challenge - World War 2
PE - Friday - Invasion games - Hockey, Bench ball
Up and Coming Events you need to know:
Swimming is going to be given to everyone over the course of the year as a way of saying well done for your hard work in class. Each week the children who have always worked well or done the correct thing, will have their names put into the hat. On Wednesday the child will be told about their success and therefore will be able to go swimming on a Friday with Year 4.
This week we go to our book launch at the University. We have been invited along for the day to see what life could be like for our futures. We may well be back a little late as we are leaving at 2.45 but are walking back.

Ashleigh worked incredibly hard with her partner Katie to produce one of the best DT projects in the class. We made our own Anderson shelter with huge success in the classroom. Well done Ashleigh.
